Early drone oil cooler used on the 25pk Split Beetle and Barndoor buses engines.
This pinion part number 539 09 101 is also used by Porsche in the 356 and 912.
Volkswagen used this distributor drive in the 1132cc 25pk and the 1192cc 30pk/36hp engine.
The Volkswagen Beetle, Transporter and Porsche 356 pre A used the Bosch RED 130/6/2600 AL16 alternator which uses a Volkswagen protection ring without any holes in them.
