This handle is used in combination with a beaded escutcheon.
All handlers are selling the flat escutcheon 221841645B as the correct escutcheon for buses from 1955 till 1967.
This is not correct, barndoor Samba’s , deluxe’s and palm green sand green models from 1953 till 1958 are using this beaded version which are hard to find.
The barndoor parts manual is telling that this beaded escutcheon has part number 221841605, but this number is later reused and used for a locking mechanism.
!221841645 / 241841645 is a made up part number by me! I couldn’t find the renumbered number for 221841605.
